A little about the artist
Stevie-Rae has been based in Central Otago for nearly 20years, Moved to Queenstown from Mosgiel/Dunedin in 2006 where she had attended Wakatipu High School before moving into the workforce. Now based over in Cromwell, following her dreams of tattooing like her Father (Greg Burt).
She spent her early years on the Otago Peninsula soaking up the tattoo culture of the 90's with her father (Greg Burt), one of the early pioneers of tattooing in New Zealand.
Stevie-Rae's own journey into the professional world of tattooing started back in January 2015, when an opportunity to apprentice under her father (Greg Burt) became available at his former studio 'White Tiger Tattoo' in Queenstown where she stayed until late 2018 before opening her own 'Private Tattoo Studio, first in Lake Hayes, before settling in the beautiful Cromwell in Central Otago with hubby and fur babies.
